My granddaughter loves this book. She's only in second grade, so it's a bit of a challenge, but so interesting she's willing to work at it.
My daughters absolutely love the Emily Windsnap books. They were not sure how much they would like them when I ordered the first one, but both the ten year old and the 13 year old have really enjoyed this series.
I bought the entire set of the Emily Windsnap books for my 10 year old niece as a birthday gift. She loves mermaids and loved the books.
I got this for my daughter's Christmas one year. She loves anything about Mermaids. Great find.
We love Liz Kessler. All of her books are great and inspire reading. The Emily Windsnap books are fun and adventurous; I just wish she would leave some of her remarks about not believing in God out of them. I skip those when reading out loud to the kiddos; as it really isn't an children's authors job to influence my kids beliefs.That being said it is like one to two comments a book so take it with a grain of salt.

My 8 yr old daughter and I read this book together. We are excited to get book 3 of this series!
My 11 year old daughter can not get enough of this series. As soon as she finishes one she is begging for the next! As a mother it makes me very happy to feed her Emily windsnap book addiction! She read a lot of the first book out loud to me and it was surprisingly cute and quite clever . 5 stars for sure!
