His knowledge of not only the Word of God but also the Spirit of God allows him to explain the principles of the word and spirit that is so sensible you just get it. This book is not over your head if you are a beginner and a balanced look at spiritual gifts if you are more advanced. I would recommend this book and any book he has written. I have a shelf full of them and refer to them on a regular basis.

When I think back to when I first read a thumbnail sketch of the first instalment of this tale, I remember thinking "here comes another cleasha rom-com. What a ground breaking suprise this story has been from the beginning right up through now! I feel humbled by my early low expectations. Keep up the high level you are still rising above, please!

Fun read. I continued to read hoping that somehow he would find a way to have everyone understand him. Many threads seems to be at play, looking forward to see what happens.

I've watched the anime years ago and the plot is sooo cliché i never had any high hopes for it, then later this year i came across these light novels and decided to give it a try.. now I've been hooked! This book gave me feels man! That scene with wiene! Any body who read this would know what I'm talking about, but dang! Got me all teary eyed and goosebumps all over! Its that good!

A great finish to the story arc. Didn't want it to end.

I wish bell had leveled up again, but he stays level 3 by the end. I bet Asterios will eventually save bell and his party in the deep levels.

This was well worth the wait, i loved the twists, the turns, the schemes,and the unexected miracles that throw everything upside down.

This was not quite as detailed as I had hoped, but what is included was quite interesting. There weren't any complete interviews; just excerpts from several that the author conducted with Mr Burr. This was obviously a fan's view, but there is the ring of truth to it. I was hoping for a few more insights from Mr Burr on the other regular cast members, but none were mentioned beyond the usual 'he or she' was good to work with, etc.It was a nice 'short' read, but I was expecting more substance. I'm glad I got it at a good price, even though it fell short.

Although a short book that read rapidly, there was a lot of information about the members of the Perry Mason cast. There were also some wonderful stories told by Mr. Burr and others about various behind the scenes events that were very interesting. If I have a criticism of the book, it would be the quality of the writing. Mr. McFadden's narrative was almost casual and seemed to lack focus in some areas, but to the dedicated Perry Mason (like me), it was an extremely informative and enjoyable book.

I read some reviews of this book that said there wasn't anything new in it. Since I hadn't read much and didn't have any material on Burr at all, I was fine with the pictures and information included in the book.

This book was pretty much a waste of time, although thankfully it's short and therefore a quick read. It is not a biography in any sense of the word; rather, reading this book is akin to reading a fan magazine. Takes about an hour, and you get one or two decent bits of info and a couple amusing quotes. In addition, it's poorly written and edited. Save the ten bucks and look for Raymond Burr or Barbara Hale interviews on YouTube.

Great fact book regarding the Perry Mason television series with interviews with Raymond Burr. Detailed write-ups on all of the supporting characters and their personal histories. Good to have it in the library!

The book was brief and I read it in a short time. It was interesting but I wanted more behind-the-scenes, little known stories. The author was more interested in sharing his opinions than telling stories. I'm not sorry I bought it but I wouldn't read it again.

We have read several of the Christian Heroes books and Ida Scudder is my favorite. I admire her very much. You learn that she didn't want anything to do with being a missionary as she had seen so much heartache when she was a child with her parents in India. But three tragic births in one night was all it took for God to get Ida's attention and show her the need for female doctors in India. Ida loved the Indian people and served them til her death. You will be inspired by her loyalty. A wonderful book to own and read over and over.

I love this book because it shows how strong women can be.I️ hope you love this book also.I️ totally recommend this book to everyone-women and men.

I bought this planning to send it bit by bit to our Compassion child in India who wants to be a doctor. However, after reading it I decided that it might seem demeaning to her Indian heritage because of some of the language. Interesting how things strike us when we are reading from a certain perspective. As an American I would never have a problem giving it to a child to read here and it has been a good experience for me. There is nothing wrong with the book and I enjoyed it and loved this series for our church library. I bought all of them and encouraged their check-out. Biographies were a favorite genre of mine growing up and I think they are of great value for all ages. It's rare to find them written for children from a Christian worldview. These are valuable.

I enjoyed this book because it was easy to read and packed with information. I enjoy reading about Christian missionaries and Ida was a super hero missionary.

A beautiful example of God's love and surrendering oneself completely to God's will.

Love this series and never tire of it. Great for church libraries. We read them over and over again at our house.

This was inspiring, and also realistic in describing her life. My granddaughter is thinking she might like to be a medical missionary. I feel this doesn't varnish the truth, yet shows the profound effect that such a life can have.

I have purchased so many of these "Heroes" titles and we have loved them all. We use them for family read alouds and then my daughter will re-read them again and again on her own. They are not boring at all. They include adventure, humor,and great character development.

As my first exposure to kinesiology, this book accommodated both my nascence to the subject AND my desire to learn it all in detail. Each chapter begins with an overview of relevant anatomy, and then proceeds to describe them in terms of specific and global function. This editorial style has the benefit of making it easier to remember and understand origins/insertions/functions when compared to the conventional anatomy reference. Neumann, the author, did a wonderful job putting together a "student-friendly" textbook for those interested in rehabilitation and kinesiology. I purchased this book for a graduate course. Though I didn't have a background in kinesiology, and this was my first introduction to the subject, I was able to follow the material. The understanding that I gained through this textbook and other study aids helped me to perform very well in my class.The book is easy to read, well illustrated and provides clinical applications. Purchase this book. You will not be disappointed.

This book is so helpful if you are having trouble grasping biomechanics. There is a lot more application of biomechanics and discussion of anatomical structures compared to books that draw lines and pivot points solely as a math problem and want you to extrapolate the rest.

Great for clarifying key points of kinesiology. This text is a wonderful supplement to class time. It's not easy to write a text that visual/kinesthetic learners like myself can understand, but the author's have done it. A great purchase.

This book provided a good basic introduction to the concept of kenesiology; it provided explainations with exaples of how kinesiology is applied and basic concepts. However, when it got to the individual musculoskeletal systems it provided mostly good basic functional anatomy, with a little less depth in the application of kinesiology.

What an excellent book. I bought this for DPT school and after reading it, I will definitely be keeping it as a resource for the rest of my career. Highly recommend.

I didn’t necessarily feel Un-fulfilled when I began reading this book, but I knew I was at a crossroad. Dr. Yusim condenses years of her own search to find happiness without needing to backpack across foreign countries, or even make an appointment with a therapist. Instead she presents various vignettes from the male and female, gay and straight perspectives to illustrate her points. The author’s own humble admissions are described in the most honest, heartfelt detail. This book doesn’t have a stiff textbook approach—stories of how Dr. Yusim helped patients reverse life-long destructive patterns brings the book to life and made me feel that my own transformation was within reach. If at first you don’t relate, keep reading. In Chapter 4, I found myself. From that point on, the message became personal, the reason for certain patterns in my life, despite being a happy person, became clear. The book’s organization made it possible to focus on chapters that resonated specifically with me. The visualization technique in the chapter on Improving Relationships seemed too easy to possibly work, yet, as a result, I found myself finally considering forgiveness. I realized I’d resisted trying because I didn’t know how to begin, when I clearly “wasn’t there yet.” The second half of this book was fascinating—topics like Synchronicity, Telepathy, Dreams, Laws of Attraction, Life after Death, and Spirit Guides are explained from both scientific and personal perspectives, from the most renowned sources. I am so happy to have read Dr. Yusim's book, Fulfilled, because I feel that there needs to be a shift in the way we approach mental health in this country. Dr. Yusim comes from a psycho-spiritual approach with her evidence-based practice. She weaves together brilliantly the spiritual aspects of life with the practical and logical ideas that most people in our field begin with. The multitude of knowledge, personal experiences and outside the box ideas that she has throughout the book make it accessible to people from all walks of life. It is not religious and can apply to every human being searching for their internal truth. Dr. Yusim is genuine, humble, and feels approachable which is a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend this book and feel fulfilled and blessed from reading it!

This book is now on my nightstand, next to "Letters from a Stoic" and "The Obstacle is the Way" because of its unique approach towards fostering self improvement."Fulfilled" sets itself apart from other self-help books (including the classics listed above) by engaging the its audience not just with powerful vignettes, but with practical exercises. These powerful exercises encourage the reader to actively participate in the self discovery and healing process. They also help the reader to recognize and address harmful behaviors and thoughts immediately and incrementally. While not a replacement for a therapist, this book helps the reader think through their problems in a realistic and productive way.No matter what your walk of life, read this book if you are serious about building the skills to improve your situation.

Fulfilled- this book is life changing. You’ve heard that before, I know, I did as well. Yet, this book hits every mark for a person who is in need of getting into the underpinnings of their thinking.. Each chapter unfolds in a way that you continually say to yourself, “Yes, this is me.”, or this is a pattern I keep repeating.” As I turned each page, I found myself getting excited about changing paradigms and beliefs I had about myself. In the Authors notes at the end of this 450 page short story, James Patterson asks his readers not go give up on Alex Cross. If Patterson has to make plea to his loyal fans he already knows he hasn't given his fans what we have come to expect. I except that tragedy in life happens to good people Patterson asks his fans to believe and accept we are needing to have faith in the human spirit to pull us through a difficult or life changing event. He shouldn't have to tell us to keep the faith. We know it.I feel you already have the next Alex Cross book written. Why should your fans have to buy another book to find out how this book should have ended.. To drag this out even for ten days is letting evil win. All of Alex Cross books have always taken fans though difficult situations and some cliff hangers. This is not a cliff hanger it is a stall Patterson is holding the ending hostage. I as a long time fan of all Patterson's books feel cheated. Patterson brings the reader through the story to the point that Alex pulls it together and is ready to go after Marcus Sunday and then the story just stops. Cross My Heart was a 5 star book up until the end of Chapter 112 when it dropped to a reluctant 2 star rating. I am sure your readers wouldn't mind if you had needed to expand Cross My Heart from 450 pages to 650 pagesYou write a message telling us we will see another Alex Cross book. Of course we will see another Alex Cross book but will anyone want to buy the book. The fans were hung out to dry for a long time. For almost 14 months fans were waiting for the predictable ending to the Michael Bennett crisis. As a loyal fan I feel Patterson has not shown his loyal fans the respect we deserve.

Cheap trick at the end to get you to buy the next book; I am a James Patterson lover, I have read almost all his books, but this one and Gone, the last two I read, just weren't up to the level of his other books. This book was contrived, impossible, and predictable.

Like many other reviewers I am an avid Alex Cross fan, having read every single one of his books. When I got to the end of this one I felt cheated because the ending was missing, like someone ripped the final chapters out of the book (which is hard to do on a Kindle). I would have bought the next book anyway; there was no need to leave your faithful readers hanging.

What a cheap shot to all your fans to write an Alex Cross story with a "to be continued" ending.....SHAME ON YOU !!! After 400+ pages....REALLY....wait til sometime next year to find out....I don't think so.

While the book was good, it's hard to overlook what appears a betrayal by the author. Patterson's books have been getting shorter and more trite over the past several years. You get the preview (which is a real selling point) but then upon purchasing for anywhere from $12 -$16, you get something you can read in a couple to three hours. This book, however, is very good, and I had hopes Patterson's ghost writer or collaborator was on to something. Only to be left with a half finished book. Patterson himself was aware of this, hence his note to readers at the end spewing some story that he really was not duping writers, he was doing it for the good of change that all series must have. Ok fine! He could given it to us in another 100 pages and had a gripping novel. Instead he is tapping it out to his next novel in the series, next year. I felt cheated and used as if Patterson didn't trust his readers to be in board with that and needed a year to digest the change. Well here is the change: it was a sorry trick and came across insulting to the intelligence of the reader. Maybe has millions of $'s and can spend on limitless entertainment, but most of his fans make an investment in the books they choose to read. IMO, the follow up to this book should be gratis.

The idea of kids with superpowers should be terrifying. It’s not, or at least not in this series. This novel manages to have comic book imagery without being a graphic novel. Imagine six-year old Angel with her beautiful wings and gills flying gracefully or swimming in the ocean. Imagine the fashion conscious Nudge. I keep getting beautiful images of these children at times like when they have a water balloon fight. The author manages to weave in lessons abut the dangers facing planet Earth and how important it is to save it and ourselves. The message is subtle and the book stays enjoyable. It has been too long since I read the last book in the series, so it took me a minute to catch up with the bird kids and their dog, Total. The kids now have gills so they can survive under water as well as in the sky and Total now has wings. Cool. But they keep developing new powers to cope with each danger. Is that playing fair with readers who expect characters to cope with what they already have - even if what they have are super powers. Maybe the kids already have too many super powers. It’s hard to keep track of them all. I even have to take notes on the characters. Iggy is blind; Gasman is handy with bombs. Fang is Max’s love interest, and Angel is evolving faster than the others. Total the dog has a crush on a pure bred Akita. I loved the part where the U.S. Navy tried to teach the kids basic training. After what these kids have been through in the novels so far, there isn’t much more about survival that they can learn. Tough survival instructors got a lesson from a six year old. The flock always seem more than up to whatever dangers that face them.

What a crappy way to sell books. Unless you are willing to pay for TWO BOOKS, don't buy this book. It has no ending. After 400 plus pages, the reader is left hanging and told that they have to buy the second book when it becomes available to know how the first book ends!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe that James Patterson would do such a thing to his loyal cadre of readers. Last Patterson book that his disappointed fan will buy!!!
